Secretary - Chelsea Templeton

Chelsea has been working with Experience Life as the People & Culture Manager for many years. She has past experience working with not-for-profit groups and has volunteered on various committees for over a decade. She is incredibly passionate about the disability sector as she herself lives with Multiple Sclerosis, and she is determined to continue advocating for people living with disabilities to experience life every single day.

Treasurer - Joy Oldfield
Joy has been Office Manager for a large electrical and plumbing company for 36 years, and is still employed on a part time basis, but more as a mentor now. She was approached by Experience Life to take on the role of Treasurer on the committee, due to her financial experience. Joy says was honoured and proud to be part of the team.

General Member - Kara Motsiopolous
Kara has been with Experience Life for many years.  She brings with her a certain type of passion that is hard to replicate.  Kara has worked in many areas commencing as a support worker and spending time in administration, and now as a Team leader role. 

 

General Member - Ivana Tempone
Ivana has 28 years' experience in Managing Accounting & Tax, and is continuously working to improve service, between her team members and clients, in delivering the best service we possibly can.  Nexus Accountants joined the NDIS as Nexus Plan Managers, to contribute, in making the life of a participant easier and helping them reach their goals.  Teaming up with all providers in working together to achieve this.

General Member - Paige Formaran

Paige is a disability support worker with a zest for life and an infectious positive attitude. She is involved in her local community in a multitude of ways, including theatre groups and performing where she showcases her love for life, her heart and her unstoppable character.

General Member - Renee Bertolus
Renee is a senior communications professional, with over 20 years' experience in the private and public sectors. She is currently working in the Australian public service as a Director of Communications and Media. She is passionate about inclusion and values diversity in all its forms and is proud to be part of the Experience Life board to drive positive and meaningful outcomes for people with disabilities in the local community.
 

General Member - Carmel Alberti
My experience as a Youth Worker to Corrections Officer and then the 18 years of lived experiences as a carer for my dad who was an incomplete paraplegic clearly paved the way for me into the NDIS space as a Senior Practice Lead Manager and Nexus Plan Manager.
I strongly believe that it is in working closely together with the LAC’s, Support Coordinators’ and other industry support providers in close committee settings, is what totally benefits all participants in achieving their personal goals and to live the best version of their life.

A group effort of leadership with empathy and strong supports, all on the same page is what allows participants to thrive in a safe NDIS environment.
