Experience Life is now authorised to provide attendant care services to TAC clients under the Transport Accident Act 1986.
If you’re recovering from a transport accident, our team can give you the same personalised support we’ve provided to people living with disability since 2006. We’re proud to take this step.
What is TAC attendant care?
Attendant care covers personal care and everyday tasks for people injured in a transport accident in Victoria, where the TAC has assessed it as needed. Your support worker helps you manage life at home and stay part of your community while you recover.
What TAC attendant care can include
Personal care and daily living support
Help with showering, dressing and mobility
Support at home
Community access and participation
Help with everyday activities and routines
Support to carry out therapy programs your treating team recommends
Post-acute support after you leave hospital
Daytime and overnight support, if you need it
Support to build your independence
Moving from hospital to home
Coming home after a transport accident takes adjustment. We work with you and your treating professionals to plan safe, person-centred support around your needs, goals and recovery.
We follow Allied Health recommendations and keep your wider support team informed as you move from hospital to home and back into your community.
